Policy JICA: Guide to Dress and Grooming

There are safety, public health, and maintenance factors involved in the use of certain school facilities (such as the swimming pool, gymnasium, shops, etc.). Dress and grooming practices required of students using these facilities will be prescribed by the teachers responsible for them.

For certain school-connected events (such as dances, field trips,etc.), particular modes of dress are appropriate and may be required by the persons in charge of the event.

The School Committee directs the Superintendent to develop guidelines for the implementation of this policy and to publish these guidelines in the appropriate handbooks.
