Policy JFCJ: Prohibition against Firearms and Weapons

Massachusetts law prohibits anyone, except for a law enforcement officer, from bringing a firearm (loaded or unloaded) or other dangerous weapon into any school building or onto school grounds, unless the person has written authorization from the Superintendent. Possession of a license for the weapon does not alter this prohibition.
